A thrilling voyage of discovery through a 265-metre-long gallery of statues is guaranteed to give you new insights into these world-famous works of art by the masters.
Really worth a look. So much splendour in the first rooms and then suddenly the judgement and the underworld. You stand in the paintings which makes it enter you even more. Glad we went in. Very kindly helped by the man at the counter. Highly recommended during a visit to Bruges!
Super fun museum to go to! Beautiful works seen. Each sculpture comes with an explanation. Definitely worth a visit!
Fascinating 3D presentation of some grand masters of painting. Daring and oh so successful, unique experience that will not leave you indifferent. The audio guide succinctly and enlighteningly describes every detail of the depicted sculptures. There is also an opportunity to have a drink in the beautiful courtyard garden.
Very enjoyable audio guided tour! The re-imagined paintings in the form of wall sculptures brought the pieces of art to life!
The most friendly and nice people at the desk, they take the time to explain everything and the museum is awesome 6 out of 5 stars.
Excellent! A warm welcome and clear instructions await when you visit to look at sculptures of paintings by Bosch, van Eyck and Memling. It really helps to bring the paintings to life and is a fantastic introduction to these artists as a really easy to use and comprehensive audio guide is also provided. Would highly recommend as part of your trip to Bruges.
It was an excellent experience to see the paintings as a 3D. Audio explanation was very useful to get deeper understanding. Every stop makes you to think about content in much deeper way. We appreciate that we had enough time and space to enjoy it. We recommend this to everyone who will visit Brugge.
Quite fascinating!
All was hand-made by very skilled artists whose work helps you get what you see in for example Hieronymus Bosch’s paintings. Looking at the original you can’t possibly see all there is to see because it is so plentiful and tiny. Well here it is enlarged and presented piece by piece with a very good audioguide explanation, so for once you know what you are looking at.
Highly recommendable!
I can say we had a splendid time! The reception couldn’t have been better: sympathetic, clear and made sure we had a fun time. The audio guide and the sculptures are a way of showing how many details Bosch put in his paintings (which is normally impossible to see when you see the real deal). As for the other painters/paintings, it gives you a clear image of how amazing they were.
It’s a fun and modern way to visit a museum. From teacher to teacher, this is a fun way to entertain your students.
